Yes please put my name down for this trip along with Haig and Cameron.
It was good fun last year and if we get the same pitch for the CLRI stand again it will be great.
Looking forward to it!

Patrick

Heard the camping at billing was a bit rough with drunk's and knackers last year, I don't mind rough camping but not to keen on getting pissed on, would pay few extra quid for decent campsite in the area. I have never been so would like feedback, cheers lads

We get camping within the secure area as a club. 24 hour security is pretty good. There's a Premier Inn onsite too if you'd rather that.

Hey,

Just bumping this as Billing Land Rover Fest is now only 8 weeks away. I haven't been before but I assume where possible we drive over in convoy and camp as a club. I had a look at the club registration form (below) and we are allowed a max of 8 Vehicles in the club space but I am sure there has to be parking for more vehicles. I dont see a date for the form submission but I am guessing its soon for us to book a spot. I also had a look at Irish Ferries webpage and its about 320e return to holyhead on the boat. Thats leaving a 8:05 on the Friday and returning on either on Sunday at 17:15 or Monday. Whats the norm do we go from Friday to Monday or Sunday?

From the thread we currently have 7ish interested Club members:

Defender90
Donegal 90
Haigoman
Roger Dee
Deco
Niallp
Nidge (not sure but he posted the original thread).

Anyhow just wanted to kick start the discussion as i'm still keen to go. (I just need a LR but its on its way)

Cheers
Niall

Nidge (not sure but he posted the original thread).

My original post was merely to mark it on the calender....I have no plans to attend this year.

Hi

I'll definitely be going with Haig and Cameron in our 110 Dormobile.

Last year we went a few days ahead of the main festival days and this was a good idea as the place fills up fast from the beginning of the week.

This year I'll book the ferry for Tuesday morning the 22nd so we'll get there that evening to set up. Anyone else who'd like to convoy with us is welcome!

Simon, have you been in touch with Abbie yet for the club tickets? Give me a buzz on 086 2552151 and we'll organise it together if you like.

Cheers

Patrick

hi men ,,,, has any one any more info on billing , I have just been on one of the ferries website , re Dublin /hollyhead, from 2 to 3 hrs sail time , on the 24th july sail and return 28 th july for around 325 to 385, depending on ship, ,

are we travelling as a club or individuals , and same as camping on site as same , seeing as there is only a handful travelling , maybe the club might some nice tee shirts landrover /CLRI with some nice graphics, etc  and not to expensive, as we are representing our club at this event ,

what say you  men    and committee trustees,

steve
