Camping/offroading event Friday25th/saturday26th of March
« on: March 22, 2016, 06:31:51 PM »
Due to the fact the last sunday of march being Easter sunday   Our next CLRI event will be held on friday 25th (camping)  and saturday 26th of March 2016 in one or more of our forests in Laragh.

We will be meeting at the Wicklow Heather restaurant, Glendalough Road, Laragh, Co. Wicklow
Friday At 1.30 o'clock for camping it may be cold so please be prepared

Meeting on Saturday morning at  10.00am & DEPARTING AT 10:30am sharp to the forest for sign-on and safety briefing.

can everyone attending please have a fire extinguisher in your landy (close at hand), and as of  August 2015  this will be mandatory

All vehicles must be road legal with valid road tax, NCT/DOE and insurance, have front and rear recovery points, carry a fire extinguisher & basic first aid kit.
Please have recovery strops (NO CHAINS) and basic recovery gear. Bring appropriate clothing/footwear allowing for changes in the weather & a packed lunch.
Hi-viz jackets are mandatory for ALL participants including children.

THIS EVENT WILL BE AN ORANGE/BLACK EVENT, so mud tires or aggressive all-terrain tires and a winch is preferable.
For newbies  and road/all-terrain vehicles don't be disheartened - I will lead a group for an hour or so and then you can group up and drive the flatter stuff yourselves or
alternatively park up and jump in with someone else.

And once again Hi-viz jackets are mandatory for ALL participants, most importantly for children.

Please take time to read the club off road rules and the constitution before attending this event.

Members day fee €20

Non members day fee €50

Hope to see as many of you as possible out at this event to show your ongoing support for the club - if you'll be attending please stick your name in the post below.
Drive it like you stole it and keep the rubber side down
