LARAGH TROPHY WEEKEND 2017

Club Land Rover Ireland are proud to announce the much loved and hugely enjoyable, LARAGH TROPHY WEEKEND will be held on Sat.28th January - Sun. 29th Jan 2017,

This is a club event and is for paid up 2017 MEMBERS ONLY.

Please post below if you are attending this event as we need to confirm numbers for event paraphernalia.

This year the weekend will kick off on Saturday at 9 o'clock in the Wicklow Heather for breakfast (optional) followed promptly by the club A.G.M. at 9.30 in the function room. We respectfully request that as many members as possible attend so we reach the required quorum to discuss the usual end of year business.

Afterwards we will have the sign in and safety briefing in the function room and you will be given details about the event.
The usual event fee of €30 per vehicle will apply to attend the trophy weekend.
Passengers: Members as usual can bring as many friends and family along to enjoy the event at no extra cost.

The 2017 Laragh Trophy Competition will start at 11am when the first vehicle will be sent off from the Wicklow Heather car park, there will be a 5 minute interval between vehicle departure.

This will be a green lane type event & non damaging & will be for all to enjoy and can be as fun or competitive as you make it. Full details will be given on the day.

Please post below if you are attending the event, just to give us an idea of numbers.

At the end of the day and in true 'Laragh Trophy' tradition, we will convoy back to Laragh, park up, check-in and head to Lynhams Hotel bar for dinner (optional) and an epic night of Hilarity and Heineken!

The night out will kick off at 6.30 (Drinks and Prizes sponsored by the club will be given out during the night) and the winner of the 2017 Laragh Trophy will be announced.

Sunday 29th. January 2017

For those who are willing and able to drive on Sunday we will be meeting at the later time of 11.30 am in the Wicklow Heathers car park.
We will convoy the short distance to the chosen Laragh forest at 12.00 where we will have the sign in and safety briefing.

All vehicles must be road legal with valid road tax, NCT/DOE and insurance with front and rear recovery points. Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear and be prepared for wet or very cold conditions. Please bring enough food and drinks to sustain you for a whole day. With the cold weather well and truly upon us, bring spare clothes, hot drinks, plenty of food and whatever you need to keep warm and safe in the mountains.
