Ive split this into a new topic regarding the training.

can all those who emailed me last month confirm their interest, and any others who wish to go on this post here.

These are great value for money events, at a great location, and should not be missed...

No, but has been threatened with divorce if she can't start driving too.
Dave and Padraic both almost shot me the last times, so driving shotgun seems a bit safer... ;D ;D ;D

Hi Guys,

I've been thinking about joining up for a while but i live down in cork now.

Would myself and the dad be able to come along on that day and join the club while we're there?

Or do i need to have a winch, battle armour e.t.c?

Cheers,

Bryan

I wouldn't really be qualified to answer that Question but thats what we did and it seemed to be okay, maybe someone on the committee could clarify that for me

Bryan,

The club caters for ALL levels. If you just want to learn to drive a standard land rover off-road safely - then thats no problem. ( its only a matter of time before the bug will bite!!)

However, it is for members, but you can join on the day.

Cheers Des,

Trust me the bug has well and truly bitten in our family! the landy scrap yard is coming along nicely!

Hope to see you all on the 6th.

Bryan I am not sure from your post if you are meaning to join on May 6th at the training day, but just to clarify: The training day is being run by ACT Training not by the club. It just happens that I am a member of the club and co owner with Robert of ACT Training. As was mentioned earlier the club does not run training days but has kindly allowed Robert and I to notify members when we are running training. So you don't need to join the club in order to attend the training day. Having said that, as you can see a number of members will be there. I'm sure we can arrange for somebody to collect your membership form from you if you want.

And let me just say, you could not join a better bunch. they know how to have fun in a Land Rover!! ;D ;D

Oh and no winch or battle armour needed, although if Kwagga is riding shotgun there might be some fireworks from Kate
