Hi, I'm new to Landrovers and have a freelander for just 3 months now. I live in Tallaght in Dublin. I would love to enjoy full capabilities of my car and would be interested in joining. I've a great love for mud and wellies too Grin

Hi All!
I've just taken the plunge and ....the pre xmas membership deal!
This is the first LR club I've been  member of. I've owned a freelander 1 ( ) and am now on the second discovery 2. (2003 D2 TD5). I do as much work as i can on the discovery myself (with the help of the interweb), so if I can help any fellow D2 owners I will.
This year will be the first time off roading so I'm going to take it handy and hope to learn lots!
I'll be in Laragh on Saturday, hopefully will be able to have a go!

Dave

Welcome Dave!

You plainly already have the green oval disease... you are in good company now.  We understand....

You will enjoy Saturday.  There's plenty of help, advice, encouragement, pointing and laughing.
The organisers of the events are brilliant and there is usually something for all abilities/appetites.

Welcome to the club!

Welcome DC,

Don't do it! I have 2 Landys and no money! They've cost me every cent I own!

Feel free to ask questions. I know that for registered guests the forum in very limited and we are looking at opening what is visible to non members.
In the meantime, if you get bored you can have full forum access for €10 (hit the PayPal button on the left hand side of your screen) ...no pressure!  laughing6
We also have a club meeting in Quinlans pub in Clondalkin Dublin at 8pm on the second Wednesday of every month (Wednesday 12th. March ) if you want to come along for a chat (   ) and see what we're like (  sleepy1 sleepy1 sleepy1 )

Or as Rodger Dee suggested come along to the end of the month event. You can park up and tag along with someone with a spare seat if you don't fancy driving. Next months event (See the Events section) is marked as a *Black event where mud tyres and a winch are a minimum requirement and there would be a high risk of damage...fun to watch though!

Thanks for visiting the site.

Regards

Nidge

Hi All,

I just got myself a rust bucket known by some as Series 3. So I thought it only prudent to join the club. As soon as I'm done putting the wheelie-bin back together I'll try to join a monthly meeting!

Cheers,
Piotr
